Oshkosh, WI (January 20, 2011) – ImproMed, Inc. is pleased to announce Lakeshore Animal Clinic is its 2010 Best Place to Work Award winner. This is the 6th year ImproMed has recognized a customer for not only their dedication to practicing excellent medicine, but for demonstrating an exceptional professional atmosphere.
In what might be a record, the Lakeshore Animal Clinic had 8 of their employees submit nominations in this category, and it was chosen as the winner by the 7-person ImproMed panel because the emphasis on keeping workers happy and productive is clearly evident.
The clinic’s owner, Joanne Schnurbusch, goes above and beyond when showing the staff how much their productiveness is appreciated with rewards such as yearly staff trips, lunches, and birthday, anniversary and annual bonuses. The clinic-funded trips have included a Caribbean cruise, a 5-day stay in Cancun and skiing in Utah.
Although the clinic staff is heavily compensated for their hard work, the organization’s medical practices are also top of the line stemming from the staff’s passion of caring for pets and educating their clients.
“Since 1978, we have been lucky to employ a fantastic, well-trained staff,” said Joanne. “I’m so proud of the quality care this team is committed to giving.”
ImproMed is proud to acknowledge Lakeshore Animal Clinic for their top-quality care of clients and staff with an engraved glass plaque, and goodies from Accelerated Pay, in-touch Mobile, RmCards.com and ImproMed.
Although not the top recipient in for the 2010 Best Place to Work Award, ImproMed commends Quakertown Veterinary Clinic, PC in Quakertown, PA, for its Honorable Mention. Quakertown Veterinary Clinic, PC was nominated by Adele Averill, Customer Service Manager, because of the clinic’s focus on creating a positive work environment that aids in recruitment and retention of employees through a combination of employee satisfaction, working conditions and company culture.
