Oshkosh, WI (October 19, 2006) – ImproMed, Inc., the award-winning developer and provider of veterinary business and medical management software, is proud to announce it was the recipient of the Small Business Success Stories Award from Corporate Report Wisconsin magazine on Wednesday, October 18th. The award was granted to ImproMed by members of the UW-Oshkosh College of Business, Associated Bank and Corporate Report Wisconsin because of ImproMed's continual demonstration of the theme of the 2nd annual awards – exemplifying innovation to a great degree.
In ImproMed's nomination form, ImproMed President Ron Detjen described how the company's 80 employees are the key to ImproMed's success, focusing on ImproMed's Talent Discovery Program and employee longevity.
Detjen went on to state that ImproMed's continuing success in the veterinary practice management field can also be attributed to ImproMed's industry-exclusive Microsoft Gold Partner status and that throughout the years, ImproMed has remained an independent company.
Since its inception in 1979, ImproMed's continuing mission has been to provide veterinarians with the best software and technical solutions. By monitoring changes in the veterinary medicine field and implementing program suggestions from their clients, ImproMed has adapted its products and solutions to address the total business management needs of veterinarians.
