News IconImproMed Loses A Beloved Member Of Its Team

On Friday, January 22nd, ImproMed’s Medical Writer/Analyst Dr. Michele “Dr. M” Ramseier-Stone lost her courageous battle with breast cancer. She was 37-years-old and is survived by her husband, Rob, and her 7-year-old son, Ben.

In February 2006, Dr. Michele was diagnosed with Stage 2/3 Breast Cancer, and became a survivor, following  surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. In September of 2008, her cancer returned as Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer. To hear more about Dr. Michele’s story, please read the article from our September E-newsletter at http://www.impromed.com/newsletter/article.aspx?a=86.

As an honor to Michele, and to the other 3 women of ImproMed that have struggled with this disease, ImproMed created the ImproMed Thinks Pink team for the American Cancer Society’s ‘Making Strides Against Breast Cancer’ walk.

ImproMed will continue to support the research required to help find a cure for this horrible disease, that didn’t come soon enough for our Dr. Michele. We will carry on the ImproMed Thinks Pink team, and we have also established a fund for Michele's son so that he may fulfill her wishes and go to college. If you're interested in donating to this fund, simply mail a check to:
