Oshkosh, WI (December 11, 2007) –ImproMed employees are proud to announce their participation in the Salvation Army’s Adopt-A-Family program for the third year by again donating to two local families. All together, ImproMed employees raised $1,700.
With the generous donations from ImproMed employee’s and ImproMed, Inc., the company was able to buy both families movie theater passes and popcorn tickets to Cinema 10, gift certificates and a popcorn & candy basket to Family Video, and gift cards to McDonald’s, Wal Mart, Festival Foods and Express Gas Stations. The kids of each of the families also received $200.00 worth of toys and clothes.
“It gives me great pleasure to know that our employees donated so kindly to this program again,” said Ron Detjen, ImproMed’s President & CEO. “With the company’s matching, we were able to almost double our donation from 2006.”
The gifts were retrieved and presented to the recipients by the Salvation Army, in order to maintain the anonymous status of the family.
