Oshkosh, WI (May 15, 2006) – The award-winning developer and provider of business and medical management software for the veterinary industry, ImproMed, Inc., and its employees have donated $1,000 to the “Fields of Honor” Military Veterans Museum located in Oshkosh, WI. The museum is a non-profit corporation that is staffed entirely by volunteers, and supported through membership dues and tax deductible donations.
75% of the $1,000.00 gift was donated from the ImproMed Employees Charitable Fund. ImproMed is proud to donate 25 cents for each dollar donated by its employees.
The idea for the Oshkosh Veterans Museum was conceived in 1985 by five men as a dedication to the men and women who served their country in times of peace and conflict. The Military Veterans Museum finally opened its doors in the Park Plaza in 1991. New plans are underway for a permanent facility in the very near future.
Since its inception in 1979, ImproMed's continuing mission has been to provide veterinarians with better software and better solutions by carefully monitoring changes in the veterinary medicine field and implementing program suggestions from their clients.
