IMPROMED ANNOUNCES 2012 CUSTOMER OF THE YEAR AWARD WINNERS
ImproMed Honors Three of Its Outstanding Veterinary Practices
Oshkosh, WI (February 4, 2013) - ImproMed, LLC, a Butler Schein Company and a leading developer of business and medical management software for the veterinary industry, announced today the recipients of its 8th Annual Customer of the Year Awards. A panel of ImproMed team members selected the winners in the categories of: “Best Place to Work,” “Community Contributor of the Year,” and “Outstanding Veterinary Contributor of the Year.”
ImproMed’s “Best Place to Work” award was given to the Animal Hospital of Oshkosh, Oshkosh, WI, as the result of the tremendous compassion that the practices head doctor, Dr. Diane Grede, inspires toward her patients. In her nomination, Jennifer Schloss, Animal Hospital of Oshkosh’s Practice Manager, fondly detailed the night Dr. Grede saved Tally, a stray dog in dire straits. “There was probably only a 25% chance that this dog would live, yet Dr. Grede pushed on and performed over $1,300 of services to this dog, even though this dog did not have an owner,” stated Schloss. “She gives 130% of herself to this practice and our patients; while following her heart and doing what she knows is right! That is why I work at the Animal Hospital of Oshkosh!”
ImproMed’s “Outstanding Veterinary Contributor” honor was awarded to Midway Veterinary Hospital, located in Somerset, KY. Nadia Green, Office Manager, submitted Midway’s nomination citing Dr. Bruce Jasper’s charitable work with the Southwestern High School Raptor Rehabilitation program. “Dr. Jasper works to educate the community on the importance of raptors in our society, and he has worked on, and saved, countless raptors, owls, and many other rare and endangered avian species.”
Cleveland Park Animal Hospital, located in Greenville, SC, earned ImproMed’s “Community Contributor of the Year” award as a result of Head Receptionist Brittney Whitten’s nomination citing innumerable charitable efforts. Cleveland Park Animal Hospital annually donates to area schools and charities such as Paws for a Cause, the Clements Kindness Fund and Country Santa; an organization providing impoverished rural children with Holiday gifts. Additionally, Cleveland Park Animal Hospital sponsors an area Youth Hockey League, and is a donation site for the Meals on Wheels Pet Food Program.
Each of the above winners will receive an engraved glass plaque, as well as a box of goodies from ImproMed and several of our generous supplier partners.
