News IconGlobalVetLINK and ImproMed Announce NEW Electronic Certificate Integration

Ames, IA – June 12, 2011 - GlobalVetLINK (GVL®), the leader in electronic animal health documentation and ImproMed, LLC®, a subsidiary of Butler Schein Animal Health and a leading developer and provider of veterinary practice management software, announces a new feature addition available for the Infinity Practice Management Software and the ImproMed Triple Crown Practice Management Software. The new software integration will allow veterinarians to create GlobalVetLINK electronic certificates within both the Infinity and Triple Crown software packages.

The integration with ImproMed and GlobalVetLINK further streamlines the electronic certificate process as it uses a system that veterinarians currently utilize on a daily basis, adding the extra functionality of state-approved and USDA-approved EIA (Coggins) certificates. Veterinarians and their staff will not need to learn any additional software, allowing for simple and seamless implementation of the system in clinics.

“We're excited about our integration with ImproMed and the new software packages. The novel technology simplifies the electronic certificate process for our mutual clients, ultimately increasing efficiency and improving work flow for veterinarians and their staff,” says GlobalVetLINK Integration Channel Manager, Jill Wagner.

GlobalVetLINK connects veterinary practices to animal diagnostic laboratories, state animal health officials and animal owners via their online system. This real-time system significantly advances information distribution, as test details and finalized certificates are submitted through the GVL’s web-based application. The electronic nature of the system eliminates the need for carbon copies and produces a clean, professional-looking document for multiple stakeholders. EIA and health certificates generated through GlobalVetLINK are accepted by all fifty states and three U.S. territories.

“Offering this advanced integration of both the Infinity and ImproMed Triple Crown software packages allows ImproMed to once again be at the forefront of our customer’s needs, and provide a comprehensive software solution,” said Bill Randolph, ImproMed’s Vice President of Technical Services.
