Oshkosh, WI (January 20, 2011) – ImproMed, Inc. is proud to announce Dr. Greta Stamberg of Clarksburg Animal Hospital in Clarksburg, MD, is the recipient of ImproMed’s 2010 Outstanding Veterinary Contributor Award.
Dr. Stamberg’s nomination was chosen for her generous contributions to her community; she has sponsored countless youth& adult sporting teams, been involved with local animal rescue groups, and has participated in numerous community events, festivals and charity organizations such as the Maryland State Animal Response Team and the Montgomery County Humane Society.
A considerable amount of her time is spent speaking at schools and various youth groups including the Boy Scouts of America and 4-H about the importance of caring for your pets, as well as careers in veterinary medicine.

ImproMed would also like to commend Dr. Jean Hollenstein from Glacial Ridge Veterinary Clinic, P.A. in Glenwood, MN, for her nomination. Although not chosen as the top Outstanding Veterinary Contributor in 2010, Dr. Hollenstein was selected to receive the Honorable Mention because of contributions to the community including a $1,000 donation worth of services to benefit the local school system. Being chosen as the Honorable Mention, Dr. Hollenstein received a framed certificate and goodies from Accelerated Pay, in-touch Mobile, RmCards.com and ImproMed.
