ImproMed and Sound Technologies provide the most seamless digital imaging solution available in the veterinary industry.

ImproMed and Sound utilize the DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) standards to implement a seamless integration between the Infinity Practice Management Software and Sound Technologies digital imaging products.  This integration allows for the user to request, bill, and view digital radiographs, ultrasounds, and other DICOM conformant images without ever leaving the Infinity program.

How it Works.

Infinity user's request images to be taken in the Sound system through a Modality Worklist Request (MWL).  The MWL contains all of the client, patient, and image study information and also generates the appropriate billing in the Infinity software. 

The radiograph technicians in the clinic see the MWL in the Sound Worklist and take the necessary images.  Once completed, these images are immediately available through the patient's medical record and can be viewed on any Infinity workstation in the hospital.

All of the ordering, charging, and viewing are handled without the clinic ever having to hand enter client, patient, or billing information into either system.
